Peace found in Journaling as Self-Care

This year, I started journaling and I have to say this really is a vital part of my EMOTIONAL self-care. Is your mind racing in 1,000 directions too? Are you beating yourself up over it? Yep, that was me. I felt flustered and scatter brained all the time. I had heard how journaling helped others but had never considered it for myself. I thought "I don't have time for this. My schedule is already crammed full between my job, my cleaning business, being a mom and growing The MOM Box." One day I was so tired of feeling flustered I decided what do I have to lose. Surely not my mind! I felt like I was losing it already. So, I started by setting a timer and being intentional about sitting down and journaling about my day, my thoughts, my worries, my gratitude. And now it feels like a tremendous weight has been lifted off my shoulders. Journaling is like taking a deep breath.
